The following workaround allows you to access Tumblr on Roku through mirror screening. This implies that you will need to mirror the screen of your Android or iOS device on your Roku-connected TV.

NOTE: When looking to mirror the screen of your device on Roku, it is suggested to consider the following:

  • Your Roku device should be connected to the HDMI port.
  • Both your Roku device and the casting device are connected to the same WiFi network.
  • Enable the Screen mirroring mode to Always Allow/Prompt to mirror the screen of your device.

Steps to Mirror Screen on Your Roku Device Using Android

  1. Firstly, you will need to install the Tumblr app from the Google Play Store for your Android device. To install the app, you will need to open the Play Store app from the applications’ menu and find the Tumblr app using the search option. Once you locate the application, you will need to press the Install button and wait for the app to get installed.

  10. Congratulations! You can now access the Tumblr app on your Roku device.
